Tour Plan

DAY 01 Arrival in Luxor & East Bank Exploration

Upon arrival in Luxor, your unforgettable family Nile cruise adventure begins. After meeting your private Egyptologist guide, the family will set out to discover the remarkable treasures of Luxor’s East Bank.

The first visit is to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious complex ever constructed and one of the most significant open-air museums in the world. Developed over more than 1,500 years, from the Middle Kingdom through to the Ptolemaic era, Karnak spans an immense area filled with colossal columns, sacred precincts, monumental statues, and magnificent temples dedicated primarily to Amun-Re.

Following the tour, the family will board the luxurious 5-star Nile cruise ship in Luxor, enjoy lunch on board, and have time to relax before the evening excursion.

Later, visit the spectacular Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated beneath the night sky. Built around 1400 BC by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II, the temple served as a centre for royal ceremonies and the famous Opet Festival. Connected to Karnak by the grand Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor Temple remains one of Egypt’s most atmospheric ancient monuments.

DAY 02 Valley of the Kings & West Bank Wonders

After breakfast on board, the family will cross to Luxor’s legendary West Bank to explore some of ancient Egypt’s most celebrated archaeological treasures.

Begin with the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs for more than five centuries. Hidden deep within the Theban hills, the valley contains over 60 elaborately decorated tombs belonging to rulers such as Tutankhamun, Seti I, and the great Ramesses kings.

Continue to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Carved dramatically into the surrounding limestone cliffs, this striking terraced temple stands as one of the masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture and was dedicated to both the queen’s legacy and the worship of Amun.

The tour concludes with a stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which have stood guarding the Theban necropolis for centuries.

After the excursion, return to the cruise ship for lunch, dinner, and an evening of relaxation on board.

Constructed during the Ptolemaic period between 237 BC and 57 BC, Edfu Temple is among the finest preserved temples in Egypt, with towering pylons, grand halls, and remarkably detailed inscriptions.

Later, continue to the unique double Temple of Kom Ombo, situated directly on the banks of the Nile. Dedicated jointly to Horus the Elder and Sobek, the crocodile god, the temple features symmetrical courts and sanctuaries reflecting its dual dedication. Built during the late Ptolemaic era, Kom Ombo remains one of the Nile Valley’s most distinctive ancient sites.
