Tour Plan

DAY 01 Arrival in Aswan & Embarkation

our journey begins in Aswan, a peaceful riverside city where the Nile is at its most picturesque. On arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your Nile cruise vessel for embarkation. After settling into your cabin, lunch will be served on board.

In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the magnificent Philae Temple, gracefully relocated to its island home following the construction of the dam. Surrounded by the calm waters of the Nile, the temple’s elegant columns and detailed carvings create a truly unforgettable setting.

Later, visit the impressive Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s most significant modern engineering achievements.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner          Overnight: On board in Aswan

DAY 02 Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

Enjoy breakfast as the cruise sails north along the Nile, passing palm groves, traditional villages, and fertile farmland that have changed little for centuries.

Your first stop is the Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. The temple features fascinating carvings depicting ancient surgical instruments and a Nilometer once used to measure river levels.

Following lunch on board, continue to Edfu where a horse-drawn carriage ride takes you to the spectacular Temple of Horus. Widely regarded as the best-preserved temple in Egypt, Edfu’s towering entrance pylons, vast courtyards, and intricate inscriptions provide an extraordinary glimpse into ancient Egyptian mythology and ritual.

Meals: Full Board          Overnight: On board in Edfu

DAY 03 Luxor East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temple

This morning, relax on deck as the ship navigates through the Esna Lock before arriving in Luxor, once the grand ancient capital of Thebes.

In the afternoon, begin your exploration of Luxor’s East Bank with the vast Karnak Temple Complex. Built over many centuries by successive pharaohs, Karnak is home to the breathtaking Great Hypostyle Hall, where enormous sandstone columns tower overhead in dramatic fashion.

As dusk settles, continue to Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated against the evening sky. The temple’s glowing statues, grand colonnades, and atmospheric courtyards create one of the most memorable experiences of the cruise.

Meals: Full Board          Overnight: On board in Luxor

DAY 04 Luxor West Bank & Departure

After breakfast, cross to Luxor’s legendary West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of many of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. Descend into elaborately decorated tombs where remarkably preserved wall paintings still retain their vivid colours after more than three millennia.

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece rising in elegant terraces beneath the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Before concluding your journey, stop briefly at the Colossi of Memnon, the towering statues that have guarded the Theban necropolis for centuries.

Following the tour, transfer for your onward departure.
