Welcome to an unforgettable journey through the heart of ancient Egypt. This curated experience is designed to offer the perfect balance of awe-inspiring discovery and unhurried relaxation.
You won’t just be visiting history; you will be stepping into it at a relaxed, luxurious pace.
With your own private, licensed Egyptologist guide handling every detail and sharing the secrets of the pharaohs, you are free to simply sit back, breathe in the river breeze, and let the magic of the Nile unfold.
Highlights
We will pick you up from Hurghada Airport or your Hotel and drive to the city of Aswan, where the Nile journey begins, Egypt’s tranquil southern gateway, where golden desert landscapes meet the calm waters
of the Nile.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your cruise ship for embarkation. After settling into your cabin, enjoy your first lunch on board.
This afternoon, discover the impressive Aswan High Dam, the monumental engineering
achievement that transformed Egypt’s agriculture and energy production. Continue to the ancient
granite quarries to see the legendary Unfinished Obelisk, still lying exactly where its craftsmen
abandoned it thousands of years ago.
The day concludes with a visit to the enchanting Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Set upon a picturesque island, the temple’s elegant colonnades and beautifully preserved reliefs
are especially captivating in the warm light of late afternoon.

Enjoy breakfast as the ship sails north through one of the Nile Valley’s most scenic and authentic
stretches. From the sun deck, admire sweeping views of palm groves, traditional villages, and
timeless river life unfolding along the banks.
Your first stop is the extraordinary Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to both Sobek, the
crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Here, fascinating medical carvings, an ancient Nilometer, and
displays of mummified crocodiles reveal intriguing aspects of life in ancient Egypt.
Following lunch on board, continue to Edfu, where a traditional horse-drawn carriage carries you
to the magnificent Temple of Horus — among the largest and best-preserved temples in the
country. Its towering pylons, grand courtyards, and richly decorated halls vividly recount the
legendary struggle between Horus and Seth.

This morning, enjoy the memorable experience of passing through the Esna Lock before arriving in
Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes and widely regarded as the world’s greatest open-air museum.
In the afternoon, explore Luxor’s celebrated East Bank, beginning with the vast Karnak Temple
Complex. The sheer scale of the Great Hypostyle Hall, with its 134 colossal sandstone columns,
stands as one of the most extraordinary architectural achievements of the ancient world. Sacred
lakes, towering obelisks, and monumental gateways reflect the ambition and devotion of over
thirty successive pharaohs.

Your final morning is devoted to Luxor’s legendary West Bank, where the pharaohs of the New
Kingdom prepared for eternity within the silent limestone hills of the Valley of the Kings.
Step inside elaborately decorated royal tombs, where remarkably vivid paintings depicting the
afterlife have survived for more than three millennia. Continue to the magnificent Mortuary
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, whose elegant terraces rise dramatically against the cliffs of Deir el
Bahari.
Before concluding your journey, pause briefly at the iconic Colossi of Memnon, the towering
statues that have guarded the Theban necropolis for centuries.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a premium local restaurant, where you will sample
traditional Egyptian dishes in an elegant setting.
After lunch, we will drive you back to Hurghada.
